Meet Mrs. Sofia Z Carreon

I am the Librarian and Computer teacher at Most Precious Blood Catholic School. This is the beginning of my 17th year working for the Diocese of Corpus Christi. I began as a teacher's aide in Kindergarten and PK-4. I was offered the opportunity to become the teacher for PK-4. I jumped at the opportunity. I have been married for 38 years and I have a 24 year old son. Family is everything to me! When my son began school in PK-4, I followed him! It lead me to this wonderful career. I was only able to have one child. God put me in a position where I get children, and children, and more children every year! I love and treat them all as if they were my own!
Education:
- Two Associate Degrees from South Plains College Lubbock, Texas
- 12 hours Early Childhood Education from Del Mar College Corpus Christi, Texas
- Commissioned in Religion Education Certificate

Favorites:
I love football season "Go Cowboys" for life! LOL! I love softball, volleyball. I do a lot of crafting, a little sewing. I love Fall, Christmas, and Easter. My favorite color is blue. I love all food, except for ground beef. I do have food allergies. I am allergic to chocolate, lemon, and tune. I love coffee and tea, both unsweet.
